Leny Rivero brings more than 15 years of experience in dining services and food and beverage operations. Prior to joining George Mason University, he served as a Controller in dining services for more than seven years, overseeing the financial operations of a dining program generating approximately $35 million in annual revenue. His expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, audits, and supporting operational leaders with business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Leny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in Peru. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, watching movies and TV shows, and planning their next travel adventure.
